Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

On Dreams is a philosophical and mystical treatise written by Synesius, a Greek bishop and philosopher, in 1888. The book explores the nature of dreams and their significance in human life. Synesius delves into the idea that dreams are not just random occurrences in the mind, but are instead meaningful messages from the divine. He examines the symbolism and imagery found in dreams, and how they can be interpreted to reveal deeper truths about ourselves and the world around us. The book also explores the role of dreams in prophecy, and how they have been used throughout history to provide insight and guidance. Synesius draws on a variety of sources, including ancient Greek philosophy and Christian theology, to develop his ideas about dreams. Overall, On Dreams is a thought-provoking and insightful exploration of the mysterious and often misunderstood world of dreams. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
