Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Kantian Ethics And The Ethics Of Evolution: A Critical Study, written by Jacob Gould Schurman in 1881, is a philosophical work that explores the intersection between the ethics of Immanuel Kant and the theory of evolution. The book presents a critical analysis of Kant's ethical framework, particularly his concept of the categorical imperative, and examines how it can be applied to the evolving world. Schurman also delves into the works of Charles Darwin and other evolutionary theorists to understand the ethical implications of evolution. The book argues that Kant's ethical framework is still relevant in the context of evolution and that it provides a strong foundation for moral decision-making in a changing world. Schurman's work is a significant contribution to the field of ethics and provides a valuable perspective on the relationship between philosophy and science. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
