Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Mother Earth: A Proposal For The Permanent Reconstruction Of Our Country Life is a book written by Montague Edward Fordham in 1908. The book presents a proposal for the permanent reconstruction of country life in England. Fordham argues that the current state of country life is unsustainable and that changes need to be made in order to create a more harmonious relationship between humans and nature. The book is divided into four parts. The first part provides an overview of the problems facing country life, including the decline of agriculture, the loss of rural communities, and the environmental degradation caused by industrialization. The second part presents Fordham's proposal for the reconstruction of country life, which involves a return to small-scale agriculture, the creation of cooperative communities, and the establishment of a more sustainable relationship with nature. The third part of the book discusses the practical steps that need to be taken in order to implement Fordham's proposal. This includes the creation of new laws and policies, the establishment of educational programs, and the development of new technologies. The final part of the book presents a vision of what the reconstructed country life might look like, including descriptions of the new communities, the new agricultural practices, and the new relationship between humans and nature. Overall, Mother Earth: A Proposal For The Permanent Reconstruction Of Our Country Life is a visionary work that presents a compelling argument for the need to rethink our relationship with the natural world. It is a call to action for all those who care about the future of our planet and the well-being of future generations. And A Description Of The Land Club Scheme. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
