Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Gathered Waifs is a book of poetry written by S. D. Leifsnam and published in 1898. The collection contains a variety of lyrics and odes, including patriotic, martial, and religious themes. The poems are written in a traditional style, with rhyming stanzas and metered lines. The title of the book suggests that the poems are gathered from various sources, perhaps reflecting the author's own experiences or observations. The patriotic and martial themes may reflect the political and military climate of the late 19th century, while the religious poems may explore spiritual themes and beliefs. Overall, The Gathered Waifs provides a window into the poetry of the late 19th century and the cultural and social context in which it was written. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
