Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Josh Billings' Old Farmer's Allminax, 1870-1879 (1902) is a book written by Josh Billings, an American humorist, in the late 19th century. The book is a collection of humorous and satirical sayings, anecdotes, and advice on a range of topics, from farming and agriculture to politics and society. The Allminax was originally published as an annual almanac, and this book compiles the best of the Allminax from the years 1870 to 1879. The book is written in Billings' signature style, which is characterized by his use of phonetic spelling, intentional misspellings, and unconventional grammar. The book provides a glimpse into the humor and wit of 19th-century America, and is a valuable resource for anyone interested in American history, literature, or humor. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
