Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Age of Revelation, also known as The Age of Reason Shown to be an Age of Infidelity, is a book written by Elias Boudinot in 1801. The book is a response to Thomas Paine's The Age of Reason, which was a critique of organized religion and a defense of deism. Boudinot argues that the Age of Reason is actually an age of infidelity, and that the true source of knowledge and wisdom is found in the Bible. He presents evidence from history, science, and philosophy to support his argument, and critiques Paine's ideas in detail. The book is a significant work of religious and philosophical thought from the early 19th century, and remains relevant to debates about religion and reason today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
