Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Morality of Field Sports is a book written by Edward Augustus Freeman in 1874. The book explores the ethical implications of hunting and other field sports, particularly in relation to their impact on animal welfare and the environment. Freeman argues that while these activities can be enjoyable and even beneficial in some cases, they must be conducted with care and consideration for the creatures involved. He also discusses the role of tradition and culture in shaping attitudes towards field sports, and considers the potential for these activities to promote camaraderie and community among participants. The book is a thoughtful and nuanced examination of a controversial topic, and remains relevant today as debates over animal rights and conservation continue to unfold. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
