Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Common Tradition of the Synoptic Gospels: In the Text of the Revised Version (1884) by Edwin Abbott is a scholarly work that explores the similarities and differences between the three synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) in the New Testament. Abbott examines the common themes, language, and structure of the gospels, as well as the variations in their accounts of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The book is based on the Revised Version of the Bible, which was published in 1884 and is considered a more accurate translation of the original Greek texts. Abbott's analysis provides a valuable resource for scholars and students of biblical studies, as well as anyone interested in understanding the origins and development of Christianity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
