Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Mystery of Creation and of Man: To Which is Added a New View of Future Punishment is a book written by Lewis Carter Baker in 1884. The book is a philosophical and theological exploration of the nature of creation and humanity's place within it. Baker argues that the universe is not a product of chance, but rather the result of a deliberate act of creation by a divine being. He also examines the nature of man, arguing that humans are not merely physical beings, but possess a spiritual dimension as well.In addition to exploring these topics, Baker also offers a new view of future punishment. He argues that the traditional Christian conception of hell as a place of eternal torment is misguided, and instead proposes a more nuanced understanding of the afterlife. According to Baker, punishment in the afterlife is not eternal, but rather serves as a means of correction and purification.Overall, The Mystery of Creation and of Man is a thought-provoking work that offers a unique perspective on some of the most fundamental questions of human existence. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
