Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ: A Past Event"" is a book written by Robert Townley in 1845. The book is a theological exploration of the idea that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ has already happened, but in a spiritual sense rather than a physical one. Townley argues that the biblical prophecies about the Second Coming were fulfilled in the early Christian church, and that the return of Christ was not a physical event but a spiritual awakening that occurred in the hearts and minds of believers. The book includes detailed analysis of biblical texts and historical events to support this argument, and also discusses the implications of this perspective for Christian theology and practice. Overall, ""The Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ"" is a thought-provoking and challenging work that offers a unique perspective on one of the most important beliefs in Christianity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
