Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""A Dream of the Atonement"" is a religious allegory written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carroll, in 1882. The book tells the story of a man named Cyril who falls asleep and dreams that he is taken to a heavenly court where he is put on trial for his sins. The court is presided over by the Judge, who represents God, and Cyril is defended by the Advocate, who represents Jesus Christ. Through the trial, Cyril comes to understand the concept of atonement and the role of Christ in the forgiveness of sins. The book is written in a whimsical style, typical of Carroll's work, but carries a serious message about the importance of repentance and redemption. It is a thought-provoking exploration of Christian theology that remains relevant today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
