Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A Song of Faith, Devout Exercises, and Sonnets is a collection of religious poetry written by the Irish poet Aubrey De Vere and published in 1842. The book is divided into three sections, each containing a different type of poem. The first section, A Song of Faith, contains poems that express De Vere's deep religious beliefs and his devotion to God. The second section, Devout Exercises, contains poems that are meant to be used as prayers or meditations. The third section, Sonnets, contains 50 sonnets that explore various religious themes, such as the nature of God, the meaning of life, and the afterlife. De Vere's poetry is characterized by its lyrical beauty, its depth of feeling, and its spiritual insight. His work is often compared to that of the great English poets of the Romantic era, such as William Wordsworth and John Keats. A Song of Faith, Devout Exercises, and Sonnets is considered to be one of De Vere's most important works and a significant contribution to the genre of religious poetry. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
