Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

An Alphabet of Emblems is a book written by Thomas Boyles Murray and published in 1844. The book is a collection of 26 emblems, each representing a letter of the alphabet. Each emblem is accompanied by a poem and an illustration, which together convey a moral or religious message. The illustrations are intricate and detailed, often featuring animals, plants, and other natural elements. The poems are written in a lyrical and poetic style, and often use allegory and symbolism to convey their message. The book is a fascinating glimpse into the world of 19th-century morality and religious education, and a beautiful example of the art of emblematic literature. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
