Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Searchlights On The War is a book written by Bernhard Dernburg in 1915. Dernburg was a German politician who served as the Secretary of State for the Colonies from 1907-1910. In this book, Dernburg presents a German perspective on the events leading up to World War I and the early years of the conflict. He argues that Germany was not solely responsible for the outbreak of war and that other European powers, particularly Russia, played a significant role in fomenting tensions. Dernburg also defends Germany's actions during the war, including the use of unrestricted submarine warfare and the invasion of Belgium. The book is written in a persuasive style and is intended to counter the negative propaganda about Germany that was being disseminated in the Allied countries. Searchlights On The War provides a valuable insight into the mindset of German leaders during the early years of World War I and the justifications they used to justify their actions. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
