Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Enter a world of mystery, magic, and romance with a collection of thirteen stories that are sure to make you laugh, drive your curiosity, and open your heart. Travel from the backcountry of Turkey to the coast of Maine and nearly everywhere in between along the way. In the title story, Sparky and the Cowboy, you'll meet Buddy, a drunken cowboy who shovels manure from racehorses' stalls. His life is rather routine until he's asked to take care of a skittish horse named Morning Thrill, who everyone calls Sparky. In "Lakonta," three world travelers enjoy each other's company in a Turkish café. The Englishman wishes to cross a bridge to the past so that he may learn from it. The religious man wishes to cross a bridge to his God so that he may be closer to him, and the narrator wishes to cross a bridge to people so that he may touch and be touched by them. Join a delightful cast of characters as they connect with each other. Along the way, they are helped by an assortment of creatures, both real and imagined, and encounter coincidences in Sparky and the Cowboy and Other Stories.
