Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Life for a teenage girl in America is hard. That's no exception for Jenna Ella May. This is partly due to the fact that she is shy, plump, and a bit klutzy. The other part, the larger part, is due to the fact that her hated nickname is Chunky. Being a teenage girl is difficult. For Chunky it is a shark-infested ocean of unpredictability. The story is told through Chunky's eyes. Whether she is being accosted and thrown into a swimming pool by an angry jock, meeting and greeting the new hottie, or stumbling into something or someone; Chunky's life is never dull! This is a story about self-esteem, self-awareness and self-acceptance. It is told humorously and realistically. Enter into Chunky's world. Relate to her plights, laugh at her bumbles, cry at her tribulations, and cheer at her accomplishments. Simply root for the underdog and you won't be disappointed. This is Chunky's story and the story that thousands of teenage girls the world over will feel they are already living.
