Only one story is based remotely on personal experience. Subject material obviously ranges from dark to uplifting. Throughout the book the reader will be forced to look within the confines of their own souls and question what they believe in. But at the same time walk away from the stories with a belief that things can always get better. Be warned though, the subject material held within is very graphic in nature. This book is not for the faint of heart. Not every story is filled with gore or perversion. As stated before, some of the stories are in all acuality uplifting in nature.
