When Steve Bertmen has to leave his wife Marcy and travel to Missouri for a business meeting, he finds that all the hotels have no vacancy. Only one outside a small town is empty. Steve checks in, but when paranormal events cause him to develop insomnia he gives up on everything. Steve begins to think there is more to the manager that checked him in and believes he is hiding more than what he told him about the motel. He starts to investigate the motel and it's history, but by doing so, he might of put himself in something he isn't ever getting out of.
