As we know, the Bible is written in many translations, all saying the same thing, but in different words. AWESOME LORD,while not a biblical translation, also cites portions of the Bible in an entirely different version - POETRY!For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. With His Son our salvation begun. For whoever believes in Him shall not perish. But have everlasting life with God to cherish. John 3:16You can also read some of the well known prayers in the Bible such as "The Lord's Prayer", "The Beatitudes", "The Twenty Third Psalm", and "Jesus Praying in the Garden" and many others. There are miracles written in poetry such as "Feeding of the Five Thousand", "Jesus Walking on the Water", "Jesus Turning Water into Wine", and the "Raising of Lazarus". These are just "highlights". These are poems of praise and thanksgiving written in everyday language. This is a unique spiritual book with a special approach to prayer. A great gift! A book for the whole family to read and enjoy. AWESOME LORD, stimulates meditation and prayer.A GREAT FAMILY DEVOTION BOOK!
