"Zoë writes with an inspiring blend of wit and wisdom. I found myself at times deeply moved, at others, inspired, and at multiple times I laughed out loud. I found the book to be a hugely refreshing read. Everyone should read it."—Dr. David R. Hamilton, PhD,scientist, speaker, and bestselling Hay House author This biography presents a modern-day, true slice of life in a village from the perspective of a district nurse. Come and meet the characters only a village can provide. There’s Dick the retired grave digger, whose favourite place to visit is his beloved graveyard to the opinionated; prejudiced, elderly Margaret, who serves traditional afternoon tea in the drawing room whilst having her leg ulcer dressed; and ninety-year-old Kenny, whose over amorous attempts of intimacy are conducted in his rhubarb patch. There is never a dull moment in this wonderful rural oasis with the relationships and characters going on a rollercoaster of emotions as their lives mingle with ours.
