Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A big change came when her school was asked to integrate. Only the cream of the crop was asked to attend the school with white majority. Would she be asked to attend? A better life was awaiting her, but she had to choose the right path--a path that would place her in the right place at the right time. Her naïve and innocent way of thinking was balanced by her drive for the type of life she longed for. This young intelligent girl of little means is torn between finding a place in Corporate America or becoming a teacher. Going to college was her life's dream. No one in her family had ever been to college. Could she be the first to begin a new way of life? Would her family be able to afford to send her to college? When romance enters her life, would it take her away from her dreams of becoming a teacher? Would she listen to the voice of her father or would she listen to her heart.? Answers to all of these questions and more exciting reading will have you, the readers, unable to put this book down. AS ITS AUTHOR, I encourage you to read it. Linda D. Robbins, pen-name, LRDiane
