Among the papers are: Camp orders; Camp orders Lieut'.The diary opens at London on 4 September 1914. 1914 is spent at Hazebrouck, London, Ypres, Zillebeke and Windmill Hill Camp. 1915 at Hazebrouck, Fruges, Fauquembergues, Renescure and Lespinoy. 1916 at Fruges, Trepied, Wailly, Daours and Tortefontaine. 1917 at Busnes, Domart En Ponthieu, Flamicourt, Regnauville and Corbie. 1918 is the most travelled year, 45 places against 30 in the next busiest, and is spent at Yzeux, Monchy Lagache, Hennois Wood, Cherienne and Pernes. 1919 at Warfusee, Tinlot, Liege Belgium, Aux Houx and Soheit Tinlot. It closes at Warfusee on 30 June 1919.
