Full colour facsimile reprint of the original First World War, War Office war diary of the Royal Army Service Corps Divisional Supply Column (73 Company A.S.C.), Divisional Troops, 3rd Cavalry Division, covering October 1914 to March 1919 across 428 pages. It names 61 places across 91 dated entries.Alongside the daily entries the volume carries one casualty and personnel return, one report or narrative and six appendices. Among the papers are: Appendix "C" No 3 Cavalry Supply Column casualties; Special order of the Day 3rd Cavalry Division.The diary opens at Woolwich on 3 October 1914. 1914 is spent at Moorbecque, Chestre, St Sylvestre, Ostend and Bailleul. 1915 at Moorbecque, Arques, Lambres, Montreuil and Beaurainville. 1916 at Hesdin, Beauranville, Montreuil, Beaurainville and Fruges. 1917 at Beaurainville, Aire, Halloy, Bernaville and Bouquemaison. 1918 at Domart-En-Ponthieu, Engis, Estrees-En-Chaussee, Larbroye and Vacquerie. It closes at Engis on 31 March 1919. Moorbecque is where it spent longest, 267 days across ten separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 114 days at Hesdin.In 1914 it is also recorded at Newbury, Avonmouth, S.S Bord Tredegar, Roulers, Dunkirk, Arneke, Poperinghe, Ouderdom, Zilliebeke and Locre. In 1915 it is also recorded at Blendecques, Reveillon and Lillers. In 1916 it is also recorded at Road From Corby to Pont-Noyelles, Longpre, Arrainnes, Corby-Pt Noyelles and Pt Noyelles R. In 1917 it is also recorded at La Motte Brebiere, Eterpigny, Bussu, Bruay, Harbonnieres, Rancourt, Acheux and Corbie. In 1918 it is also recorded at Mons-En-Chaussee, Villers Carbonnel, Pernes, Averdoignt, Moislans, Feuilleres, Hamelet-Bernes Road, Barastre, Barrastre and Fives.
