Party; Raid carried out on the night of June 24/25th. 1917 by the Royal Dragoons.The diary opens at Cappel Boom North France on 1 December 1914. 1914 is spent at Cappel Boom North France. 1915 at Thiennes, Crequy North France, Amettes Area Armentieres, Armentieres and Blaringhem-N.France. 1916 at Ovillers, Crequy N France, Fressin, Bonnay and General. 1917 is the most travelled year, 38 places against 26 in the next busiest, and is spent at Plumoison, Haverskerque, Vron, Long and Neighbourhood of Epehy. 1919 at Jehay-Bodegnee, Cologne, Sprimont, Theux and Raeren. It closes at Paffendorf on 31 March 1919. Plumoison is where it spent longest, 100 days across three separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 95 and it came back to Thiennes four separate times.In 1915 it is also recorded at Blaringhem-North France, Merville-Estaires, Vlammertinge, N of Zillebeke J. B.C, General, Bruay, Cauchy A La Tour, Ligny Les Aire, Ligny-Lez-Aire and Crequy. In 1916 it is also recorded at Allery, Vaux-Sur-Somme, La Neuville, Lamesge, Neuf Moulin, Maintenay, Dominois, Drucat, La Chaussee and Bussy-Les-Daours. In 1917 it is also recorded at Fortel, Fosseux Duisans Arras Duisans, Duisans Arras Hill 100, Duplicate, Hill 100, W. of Arras, Arras Fosseux, La Neuville, Fosseux Le Ponchel and Le Ponchel Vron. In 1919 it is also recorded at Warden and Oberembt.
