Cavalry Brigade order No.51.The diary opens at Ludgershall on 5 October 1914. 1914 is spent at Southampton, Dee Appendix B, Hooge and Ludgershall. 1915 at Hucqueliers, Wardrecques, Fauquembergues, Hondeghem Eblingham Staple La Brearde and In Huts, Vlamertinghe. 1916 at Hucqueliers, Fressin, Corbie and Neuville. 1917 at Rue Guarbecque, Campigneulles Les Grandes, Pernes and Ribeaucourt. 1918 is the most travelled year, 72 places against 36 in the next busiest, and is spent at St. Ouen, Trefcon, Fransu, Bertincourt and Jodoigne-Souveraine. 1919 at Xhos and Warfusee. It closes at Warfusee on 20 March 1919. Hucqueliers is where it spent longest, 267 days across six separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 148 days at Fressin.In 1915 it is also recorded at Hondeghem, Zillebeke, Ypres, Herzeele, Huts W. of Ypres, Wallon Cappel, Ramparts Ypres and Ramparts at Ypres. In 1917 it is also recorded at Beaurainville, Boubers, Gouy, Montenescourt, Arras, Simencourt, Frohen-Le-Grand, Tortefontaine, Vaulx and Gezaincourt. In 1918 it is also recorded at Picquigny, Proyart, Meraucourt, St. Christ, Beaumont, Britigny, Carlepont, Ollencourt, Choisy and Avrechy.
