It names 130 places across 160 dated entries.Alongside the daily entries the volume carries two reports, narratives and plans, three appendices, two maps and nine diagrams. Among the papers are: Report on Bridge Contracted at? 22/4/18 by 409th Lowland Fd Coy RE; Company order for 17-9-18.The diary opens at Warloy Coy In Billets less one Sctn on 1 February 1917. 1917 is spent at NE of Ypres, Woesten, Coy in billets at Mericourt-Sur-Somme, Whole Coy in billeted at Brie and Coy billeted near Bailleul. 1918 at Annequin N, Sailly La Bourse, Moulin a Vent Woeston and Kempton Park. 1919 at Rosberg, Ober-Drees and Sechtem. It closes at Kinmel Pk on 30 September 1919. Rosberg is where it spent longest, 101 days across four separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 45 days at Ober-Drees.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Canal Bank Nth of Ypres.In 1917 it is also recorded at Whole Coy Billeted at Brie, Coy in billets at Brie, Whole Coy in billets at Villers Bretonneux, Coy billets at Villers-Bretonneux, Coy billeted at X10P.4.8. near Bailleul, Coy billeted near Bailleul at, Coy in billets at O.30 near Queue-d"-oxelaere, Coy billeted at Wormhoudt, Coy at Wormhoudt and Coy Camped near Casino.
