Among the papers are: Casualties; Report on raid on Enemy's trenches in the Neighbourhood of the Southern Crassier night; 1st Infantry Brigade narrative of operations Appendix VII D; Narrative of operations on 25th September 1916; Appendix D. report on operations October 21st to 23rd Appendix D; Report on operations from Oct.21st to Oct 23rd by 1st Brigade Appendix D; Description of IIIrd Corps Contact Patrol Aeroplane and Signals made by It; Operation orders; The Following Reliefs Will Take place on 13th July 1915; Orders for Relief on 28 July 1915; Orders for Relief on 31 July 1915; Instructions. the attached instructions were issued to us with Divisional orders.The diary opens at Le Nouvion on 16 August 1914. 1914 is spent at Vendresse, Veldhoek, Hazebrouk, Fesmy and Verneuil. 1915 at In Front of Hulluch, Lillers, Area B, Near Loos and Section 2. 1916 is the most travelled year, 50 places against 28 in the next busiest, and is spent at Quesnoy, Maroc, Calonne Section and Les Brebis & Petit Sains. It closes at High Wood on 30 November 1916.
