Battalion the Royal Irish Regiment (Pioneers) operation order.The diary opens at Plymouth on 16 June 1916. 1916 is spent at Dell, Villers-Au-Bois, Bois-De-Caftet, Yvrencheux and Beauval Lealvillers. 1917 at Ovillers Huts, Camp de Mitry, Kent Camp, Ecurie Camp and Bois De Bray. 1918 at Duren, Q15 Central Havrincourt Wood, La Bazeque, 2nvsd and Haute Cote. 1919 at Immigrath, Schlicken, Steckenborn, Arnoldsweiler And Hansrath and Longerich. It closes at Langenfeld on 4 November 1919. Immigrath is where it spent longest, 89 days across five separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 56 days at Dell.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Q15 Central Havrincourt Wood, Mailly Wood East, Monchy Mill South Pommier and P.6 Mailly-Wood-East.In 1916 it is also recorded at Southampton, Havre, Bruay, Ourton, Saleux, Vaux-Sur-Somme, Morlancourt, Bois-De-Caftet To Sand Pit, Sand Pit To Treux and Treux To Saleux & St Vast-En-Chaussee.
