Among the papers are: War Diary Missing; Report on raid on night 9.8.17-10.8.17; XVII Corps Intelligence Summary; Operation orders; March Table to Accompany order No. 11.of 3rd March 1917; March Table. in Accompany 12th Infantry Brigade order No. 12 of 4/8/17; Administrative instructions; 12th Infantry Brigade order No. 13.March Table to Accompany; Preliminary instructions for forthcoming operations; Officers who took part in the "Attack" on 9th April 1917; Officers who took part in the attack on 11th April 1917; Operation orders Etc.The diary opens at Havre on 13 February 1915. 1915 is spent at Forceville Night, Le Sizel, Le Bizet, Havre and New him Held on. 1916 at Bertrancourt, Vismes, Poperinghe, Bailleulval and Corbie. 1917 at Maizieres, Rifle Camp, Wilderness Camp, Caumont & Tollent and Bailleul. 1918 at Camp 18. It closes at Camp 18 on 31 January 1918. Bertrancourt is where it spent longest, 36 days across three separate stays, it came back to Bailleulval five separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 34 days at Forceville Night.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Trenches Sucerie, Trenches, Canal Bank Ypres, Trenches Right Sub, Function Wood Reserve, Stray Farm, Bronfay Farm Billon Wood and Trenches Bertrancourt.In 1916 it is also recorded at Bray, Bronfay Farm Billon Wood, Sailly Laurette, Lahoussoye, Mailly Maillet Mesnil, In Trenches, Halloy, Barly, Warluzel and Le Sovich. In 1917 it is also recorded at Camp 12D, Camp 12B, Bray, Camp 13, Close Support, Reserve, Function Wood Reserve, Corlie, Corbie and Bertangles.
