Commander-in-Chief, British; Table showing dates and frontages of Infantry reliefs by 6th Division on the one hand; Relief Table 5th Divisional Artillery 2.The diary opens at Bethune on 1 November 1916. 1916 is spent at Bethune and Vielle Chapelle. 1917 at Le Preol, Loisne, Vimy, Bethune and La Targette. It closes at Vimy on 30 April 1917. Bethune is where it spent longest, 51 days across five separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 30.In 1917 it is also recorded at Fouquieres, Mesnil and Verdrel.
