Inf; Notes for Relief on night of 21st/22nd July; Report of Paid Ordered to Be carried out by 2nd H.A.G. on the night of 22nd/23rd Inft; Programme of raid.The diary opens at Moay Valley on 25 June 1916. 1916 is spent at Somme, Ploegsteert, Beavmont Hamel, Febvin and Bertrancourt. 1917 is the most travelled year, 59 places against 16 in the next busiest, and is spent at Honeghem, Rail, Rubempre, Courcelles and Bertrancourt. It closes at Arsego on 30 November 1917. Honeghem is where it spent longest, 157 days, including a single unbroken stay of 157 and it came back to Bertrancourt six separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Logeast Wood and Zillebeke Dugouts.In 1916 it is also recorded at Right Of Bullecourt, Tower Of London, Southampton, Havre, Steenwerke, Papot, Steenwerck and Moulle. In 1917 it is also recorded at Beaumont Hamel, Mailley Mallet, White City, Mouse Pt, Puisseux, Mailly, Ablainzeville, Mory, Stledger and Longatte.
