Division order No. 160.The diary opens at Camp 12 on 12 January 1916. 1916 is spent at Noyelles, Hornoy, Briqueterie, Divion and Camp 12. 1917 at Nieppe, Maurepas, Ypres, Pioneer Camp and Nurlu. 1918 is the most travelled year, 87 places against 55 in the next busiest, and is spent at Ypres, Villers Au Bois, Bethencourt Sur Mer, Neuville St Vaast and Tournai. 1919 at Irchonwelz. It closes at Irchonwelz on 12 May 1919. Irchonwelz is where it spent longest, 132 days across four separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 59 and it came back to Ypres five separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Waterlot Farm, Savernake Wood, Vaux Wood and Belgian Chateau.In 1916 it is also recorded at Maurepas Ravine, Bavelincourt, Annequin, Burbure, Citadel Camp, Waterlot Farm, Waterlot Fm, Bricqueterie Montauban, Hangest and Camp III Bray. In 1917 it is also recorded at Savernake Wood, Suzanne, Maurepas Ravine, Southampton, Le Havre, Bray, Moislains, Villers Guislain, Vaux Wood and Camp 12 Near Chipilly. In 1918 it is also recorded at St. Jean, In the line Passchendaele, Rear H.Q. Dead End Ypres, Steenvoorde, Passchendaele, Longuenesse, Somme, Castel, Fourdrinoy and Ferriers.
