Accompany 23rd I.B. operation order No: 90; Appendix to Star Diary for month order 1917.The diary opens at Marles Les Mines on 6 July 1916. 1916 is spent at Fouquieres, Avelesges, Plateau and Les Bethune. 1917 at Nieppe, Steenwerck, Wirral Lines, Mt St. Quentin and Haut 'Arques. 1918 is the most travelled year, 109 places against 48 in the next busiest, and is spent at Villers Au Bois, La Targette, Anzin, Tournai and Lieux Dieu. 1919 at Ghislenghien, Ghislenghein, Hellebecq, Enghien and Ghlisenghien. It closes at Ghislenghein on 17 June 1919. Ghislenghien is where it spent longest, 165 days across eight separate stays, it came back to Fouquieres eleven separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 31 days at Fouquieres.In 1916 it is also recorded at Burbure, Bethune, Fouquieres Lez Bethune, Lapugnoy, Huchenville, Ailly Sur Somme, Meaulte, Carnoy, N Cornoy and Citadel Camp. In 1917 it is also recorded at Bethune, Avelesges, Ailly Sur Somme, Camp 12, Sailly Le Sec, Bray, Wormhoudt, Corbie, Chipilly and Moislains. In 1918 it is also recorded at Vlamertinghe, Watou, Steenvoorde, Camp In Watou, Edewaart Hoek, Camp near Vlamertinghe, Abeele, Camp near Steenvoorde, Billets at Longuenesse and Wizernes.
