Appendix B.The diary opens at Bordon on 11 May 1915. 1915 is spent at Dickebusch, Essars, Bethune, Hamet Billet and L'Hallobeau. 1916 at Villers-Au-Bois, Arras, Plogsteert, Armentieres and Bazentin-Le-Brand. 1917 at Arras, Ruyaulcourt, Ledringhem, Gomiecourt and Heudecourt. 1918 at Krahen Hohe, Fins, Broodseinde, Reninghelst and Lynde. 1919 at Krahen Hohe Germany, Horrem Germany and Kahen Hohe Germany. It closes at Horrem Germany on 22 August 1919. Arras is where it spent longest, 149 days across six separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 72 days at Krahen Hohe.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Plogsteert Doudou Farm, Montauban Alley and N,End Billon Wood Valley.In 1915 it is also recorded at Southampton Dock, Havre, Rouen, St Omer, Wiserne, Pihem, Abbaye Wostein, Le Verrier, Steenwerck and Letouquet.
