Arty instructions No. 4.The diary opens at Marseilles on 3 July 1916. 1916 is spent at Englesart, Warlus, Senlis, Bouzincourt and Duisans. 1917 is the most travelled year, 22 places against 15 in the next busiest, and is spent at Vauchelles, Maizicourt, Sains-En-Gohelle, St. Jans Cappel and Ervillers. It closes at Gonnehem on 31 December 1917. Vauchelles is where it spent longest, 33 days, it came back to Senlis four separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 31 days at Englesart.In 1916 it is also recorded at Havre, Blangermont, Gouy-En-Artois, Liencourt, Bertrancourt, Donet Post and La Boiselle. In 1917 it is also recorded at Maizecourt, Montenescourt, Warlus, Albert, Dranoutre, Merris, Strazeele, Godewaersvelde, Morbecque and Bomy.
