It closes at Vlamertinghe on 31 July 1917. Sailly Labourse is where it spent longest, 83 days across four separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 41 days at Montigny.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Baizieux Chateau, Shelter Wood and Montigny and Shelter Wood.In 1916 it is also recorded at Lillers, Bryas, Flers, Frohen Le Grand, Bernaville, Vignacourt, Near Albert, Baizieux, Montigny and Shelter Wood and Shelter Wood.
