It names 51 places across 77 dated entries.Alongside the daily entries the volume carries two lists of honours and awards, twenty-four casualty and personnel returns, one return of horse casualties, twenty-five reports, narratives and plans, six Operation Orders, five appendices, four maps and one diagram. Among the papers are: Nominal roll of officers to Receive Medal Ribbons from Corps Commander 4th Feb. 17; Nominal roll of Recipients of Medal Ribbons for presentation by Corps Commander 4th Feb; 24th Division. casualties for the month of January 1917.; 24th Division. casualties for month of February. 1917 Appendix D; Animal casualties by "Sheet Fire"; Administrative instructions issued by "Q" 24th Divn. in connection with forthcoming; Addendum to 24th. Division Administrative instructions No. (VIII). Water; Special order of the Day.. H. Do 1a P. Gough,, K., Fifth Army, Dated 26th March, 1918; Administrative instructions for the Entrainment of the 24th Division, (Less Artillery); Special order of the Day.The diary opens at Braquemont on 1 January 1917. 1917 is spent at Nobescourt Farm, Zevecoten, Braquemont, Barlin and Labeuvriere. 1918 is the most travelled year, 35 places against 19 in the next busiest, and is spent at Sains En Gohelle, Nobescourt Farm, Sans En Gohelle, Sameon and Tournai. 1919 at Tournai and Welch. It closes at Tournai on 30 June 1919. Nobescourt Farm is where it spent longest, 143 days across seven separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 31 days at Braquemont.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Nobescourt Farm and Cantaing Mill.In 1917 it is also recorded at 24th Division.
