It names 68 places across 108 dated entries.The diary opens at Havre on 5 October 1915. 1915 is spent at Beauval, Pont Remy, Bertangles, Havre and Coisy. 1916 at Bailleul, Varennes, Clairfaye, Bertrancourt and Berteaucourt. 1917 at Bailleul, Maricourt, Bouvelinghem, Red Farm and Milly. 1918 is the most travelled year, 29 places against 20 in the next busiest, and is spent at Artemps, Gwalia Farm, Steerhoek and School Camp. 1919 at Sterhoek and Steerhoek.
