Among the papers are: Report on raid made by 16th Royal Welsh Fusiliers; Report on raid carried out by 16th Battn. R.W. Fusiliers on night 29/30th Oct. 1916; Appendix I. (Report on operation in Mametz Wood.).The diary opens at Winchester on 2 December 1915. 1915 is spent at Laventie, Boulogne, Winchester and Mametz. 1916 is the most travelled year, 19 places against 11 in the next busiest, and is spent at Left Subsector, Laventie, Vielle Chapelle, Moated Grange and Ostreville. 1917 at Left Subsector, Rely, Right Sub and Left Subsection Bois Grenier. 1919 at Blangy-Tronville and Warloy-Baillon. It closes at Blangy-Tronville on 31 March 1919. Left Subsector is where it spent longest, 84 days across four separate stays, it came back to Warloy-Baillon five separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 58 days at Blangy-Tronville.In 1916 it is also recorded at Richebourg St Vaast, Givenchy, La Pannerie, Gorre, Riez Bailleul, Merville, Mailly Maillet, Right Sub, Camp 'P'. In 1917 it is also recorded at Left Sub, Bois Grenier Left, Reserve, Support, Fleurbaix Reserve and Right Subsection Fleurbaix.
