Daily Intelligence Summaries; Graph Showing Number of officers & Other Ranks Attending Various Courses of Instruction; Report on Livens Gas Projector attack by "L" special Company R.E; Graph Showing Numbers of officers & Other Ranks Attending Various Courses of instructions; 39th Div narrative; Table "A" issued with VII Corps order No. 243; Table "A" to accompany 39th Division order No. 224.The diary opens at St Jans Cappel on 1 October 1917. 1917 is spent at Dezon Camp, Nielles-Les-Blequin, St Jans Cappel, Steenvoorde and Westoutre. 1918 is the most travelled year, 24 places against 8 in the next busiest, and is spent at Varengeville, Wolphus, Eperlecques, Nurlu and Canal Bank Ypres. 1919 at Rouen and Varengeville. It closes at Rouen on 10 July 1919. Varengeville is where it spent longest, 201 days across eight separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 31 days at Eperlecques.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Canal Bank Ypres and Coutove Chateau.In 1917 it is also recorded at La. Clytte Dezon Camp and Border Camp. In 1918 it is also recorded at Coutove Chateau, Mericourt Sur Somme, Haut-Allaines, Clery. Sur. Somme, Frise, Chuignes, Proyart, Hamel, Fouilloy and Domart-Sur-La-Luce.
