Division Intelligence Summary No. 102. from 12 Noon 15.9.17 to 12 Noon 16.9.17; Machine Gun Group 50th Division operation order No. 1 Appx No. 5; Appendix No. 1. to 50th Division Provincional defence Instructions. Machine Gun defence; No. 245 Machine Gun Coy. operation order No. 29. Appx No. 11; 50th Division operation order No. 156 Appx No. 12; Relief orders. O.C. M.G. Group in the Line. Appx No. 2; XIX Corps Administrative instructions No. 98 Appx 14.The diary opens at Grantham on 15 July 1915. 1915 is spent at Mercatel & Trenches, Havre, Grantham and Southampton. 1917 at Carlisle Camp, Hellebroucq, Achiet Le Petit and In The Line Passchendaele Sector. 1918 at Foucaucourt, Vauvillers, Harbonnieres, Caix and Domart. It closes at Sains-En-Amienois on 31 March 1918. Carlisle Camp is where it spent longest, 24 days, including a single unbroken stay of 22 and it came back to Hellebroucq three separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Mercatel & Trenches.In 1915 it is also recorded at Fourcart Alvamare, Romscamps Boisleux-au Mont, Boisleux Au Mont and Mercatel. In 1917 it is also recorded at Achiet-Le-Petit Lens II 1/100,000, Hellebroucq Hazebrouck 5A 1/100,000 27A 1/20,000, La Cloche Refn Hazebrouck 5A 1/100,000, Proven, Friedland Fm, Sutton Camp and In The Line Passchendaele. In 1918 it is also recorded at Blangy-Tronville, Beaumetz St. Cren, Chaulnes, Ignaucourt, Demuin and Boves.
