Royal Scots (Pioneers), operation orders; 1/8th Bn. the Royal Scots (Pioneers), orders for Entrainment for Move to Reserve Army Area; Additional instructions for Move to Reserve Army Area; Amendment to operation orders No. K.4; March Table to Accompany operation order No. K.9; Instructions for Move to the New Area; Instructions for Move to Bernaville Area.The diary opens at Bouzincourt on 1 December 1915. 1915 is spent at Bouzincourt and Flesselles. 1916 at Louez, Armentieres, Flesselles, Courcelles & Colincamps and Sailly-Le-Sec. 1917 is the most travelled year, 34 places against 25 in the next busiest, and is spent at Arras, St Laurent Blangy G.18A4.0, Maroeuil, H Qrs At Fremicourt and Camp A28 A1.9. 1918 at St. Venant, Roclincourt, Nanteuil, Bray Camp and Fampoux. It closes at Fampoux on 30 September 1918. Louez is where it spent longest, 88 days across five separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 32 and it came back to Flesselles six separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Mametz Wood.In 1916 it is also recorded at Daours, Autheux, Honval, Canettemont, Mametz Wood, Pont Remy, Staple, Estaires, Hardinval and Thievres.
