It closes at Villers Faucon on 31 October 1917. Hamhoek is where it spent longest, 208 days across nine separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 31.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Cocove Chateau and Bellevue Farm.In 1916 it is also recorded at Ailly-Le-Haut-Clocher. In 1917 it is also recorded at Red Rose Camp, Poperinghe and Haplincourt.
