Among the papers are: R.A.M.C. operation order No. 6; The following Will Be Added to RAMC operation order No. 6 dated 18/8/16; March Table issued with 56th Divisional order No. 56; Royal Army Medical Corps Routine orders 56th Division; 56th Division. instructions for Entrainment; Instructions for Supplies for Consumption on the 24th and 25th October 1916; 56th Division March Relief Table to accompany 56th Division No 69; Appendix No. 2. instructions to Bearers; Appendix No. 1. instructions to Bearers; A.D.M.S. instructions to All Medical officers; A.D.M.S. instructions for all Medical officers; Monthly Sanitary report of 56th Division. for October..The diary opens at Hallencourt on 6 February 1916. 1916 is spent at Henu, La Gorgue, Le Cauroy, Billon Farm and Hallencourt. 1917 at Fremicourt, La Gorgue, Arras, Le Cauroy and Roclincourt. 1918 at Warlus, Mingoval, Harvent, Victory Camp and Fayt Le Franc. 1919 at Harvengt, Jameppes and Jemeppes. It closes at Jameppes on 17 April 1919. La Gorgue is where it spent longest, 129 days across six separate stays, including a single unbroken stay of 31 and it came back to Warlus seven separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Billon Farm and Lafosse Farm.In 1916 it is also recorded at Domart En Ponthieu, Doullens, D.26 Central, Doulens, Frohen Le Grand, St Riquier, Corbie, Forked Tree, Monthuban Area and Belloy Sur Somme. In 1917 it is also recorded at R.A.M.C. Operation Order No. 17, Wail, Beaumetz, Achicourt, Couin, Hauteville, Warlus, Habarcq, Eperlecques and Reninghelst. In 1918 it is also recorded at Anzin, Agmeres, Agnieres, Berneville, Roellecourt, Le Couroy, Bauincourt, Basseux, Blairville and Boisleux au Mont.
