Appendix "A".The diary opens at Hallencourt on 5 February 1916. 1916 is spent at Henu, La Gorgue, Le Cauroy, Hallencourt and Billon Farm. 1917 at La Gorgue, Fremicourt, Arras, Beaumetz and Sombrin. 1918 at Warlus, Berneville, Harvengt and Villers Les Cagnicourt. 1919 at Harvengt and Quaregnon. It closes at Quaregnon on 18 May 1919. La Gorgue is where it spent longest, 125 days across seven separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 65 days at Warlus.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Billon Farm, Blaireville Quarry and Les Fosses Farm.In 1916 it is also recorded at Domart, Doullens, Frohen, St Riquier, Corbie, Forked Tree, Battle H.Q, Citadel, Yzeux and Longpre. In 1917 it is also recorded at Willeman, Le Cauroy, Gouyen Artois, Achicourt, Covin, Hauteville, Warlus, Habarcq, Eperlecques and Reninghelst. In 1918 it is also recorded at Beugin, Bajus, Le Cauroy, Bavincourt, Blaireville Quarry, Boisleux St. Marc and Les Fosses Farm.
