Inf Bde order No 206.The diary opens at Bray on 1 January 1916. 1916 is spent at Souastre, Laventie, Grand Rullecourt, Bray and Hallencourt. 1917 at Fremicourt, Laventie, Arras, Achicourt and Telegraph Hill. 1918 at Warlus, Arras, Estree Cauchie, 51B NW France St Catherine and Villers Saint Ghislain. 1919 at Jemappes Near Mons Belgium and Jemappes Belgium. It closes at Jemappes Near Mons Belgium on 30 April 1919. Laventie is where it spent longest, 182 days across ten separate stays and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 87 days at Fremicourt.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Chateau Segard, Contour Wood, Les Fosses Farm, Les Fosses Farm Rear Villers-Cagnicourt. Advanced, Chateau De La Nail and La Bazeque Farm.In 1916 it is also recorded at Bray-Sur-Somme, Corbie, Saint Gratien, Breilly And Picquigny, Domart-En-Ponthieu, Authieule, Givenchy Le Noble, Doullens, Heirmont and St Riquier. In 1917 it is also recorded at Merville, Hamet Billet, Pernes, Pronay, Le Cauroy, Siemen Court, Monchiet, Wailly, Souastre and Agnez. In 1918 it is also recorded at St Catherine Arras, Mont St Eloy, Cambligneul, Bailleul Aux Cornailles, Bailleul-Aux-Corneilles, St Catherines, St Aubin, Chateau De La Nail, Ronville Caves Arras and Warlus No. 1 Camp.
