Intelligence Report, Z 40-43 to noon 13th July; Intelligence report on Sector Z40-43; Table to Be Read with Preliminary instructions; Preliminary instructions for Forthcoming operations.The diary opens at Bac St Maur on 1 February 1916. 1916 is spent at Hebuterne, Fonquevillers, Souastre, Beaudricourt and Rebreuviette. 1917 at Morchies, Fremicourt, Montenes Court, Ivergny and Moated Grange. 1918 at Mons, Dainville, Oppy, Support and Feuchy. 1919 at Jemappes Belgium. It closes at Jemappes Belgium on 21 May 1919. Mons is where it spent longest, 128 days, including a single unbroken stay of 93 and it came back to Dainville fifteen separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Ebenezer Farm, Leuze Wood, Billon Farm, Support Trenches, German Wood, Souastre And Chateau De La Haie, Chimpanzee Trench and Trones Wood.In 1916 it is also recorded at Doulieu, Airaines, Longpre, Berteaucourt, St Queen, Beauval, Oppy near Beaudricourt, Oppy Lez Beaudricourt, Sailly Au Bois & Hebuterne and Bayencourt. In 1917 it is also recorded at White House, Fauquissart, Lauantie, Laventie, Bout Deville, Regnier Le Clerc, Grand Pacaut, Mauquissart & Moated Frame, Pont Du Hem and Mauquissart Moated Grange. In 1918 it is also recorded at Support Red Line East of Bailleul, Ottawa Camp, Tincques, Chelers, Aubrey Camp Rollincourt, Aubrey Camp Roclincourt, Tinques, Wakefield Camp Roclincourt, Marvienl and Anzin.
