It closes at Aden on 30 December 1915. Ismailia is where it spent longest, 104 days, including a single unbroken stay of 74 and it came back to La Couture ten separate times.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Trenches West Of Neuve Chapelle, Trenches, Albert Road Dug-Outs and Front Line Trenches R3-R5.In 1914 it is also recorded at Dharmsala, Bakloh Punjab, Ambala, Pathankot, Bombay, S.S Purnea Arabian Sea, Suez, Egypt, Alexandria and Mounteagle.
