Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The old man stands on the beach, just wanting to feel alive again. But as he shuffles along the water in his bargain beach shoes, he suddenly stumbles and plunges headfirst into the sand. As beachgoers rush to his side, the old man closes his eyes and realizes it has been too long since he has taken the time to reflect on his life. With the sun on his face and the sounds of voices and seagulls fading into the background, the old man quietly wonders if this is the end.As his memories take over, the old man journeys into his past and begins to recognize that he has always allowed fear to stifle his courage and stop him from achieving greatness in his life. He lies helplessly in the hot sun as the feet of strangers move around him on the beach, and he finds himself overwhelmed with a sense of failure and regret. As he contemplates what he has done to positively impact others in his life, he longs for one more chance. In this poignant, inspirational tale, an old man fights death for a second chance to transform his life from ordinary to extraordinary and inspire others to do the same.
