Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Thoughts of Love and Life is a collection of poetry that asks and perhaps answers questions about who and what we are. Written on subjects ranging from faith to folly, as well as from life to death, author Nancy Brookfield exhibits a questioning, restless mind with but one conviction: that mankind has meaning and can improve. The spring green grass is growing nowand in warming winds it playsIt reaches toward the blue of the skyand grows higher with each dayThen the heat of the sun will turn it goldand the farmer will cut it downThe grain that he gathers from the fallen shaftswill go to the miller in townAnd the miller will make the flourand the baker will make the breadThe green grass serves his purposeand lives though he is deadWould that I could do so muchwith this life of mineAnd leave something behind to feed your soulswith the passing of my time
